Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Are you walking in the blessing of the Lord or are you just tolerating whatever life brings your way?
Are you prospering on your God given course or are you just barely holding on till Jesus returns comes?
God wants you to live a blessed life, a life full of joy and peace. Go ahead throw off those cares and problems that seem so big. Jesus paid an awesome price so that you could live blessed. Smile at your future and walk with confidence, God's got you covered, He will never leave you or forsake you. God wants you to prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers (3John 2).
Blessed defined:
- Happy; prosperous in worldly affairs; enjoying spiritual happiness and the favor of God; enjoying heavenly felicity.
- Enjoying happiness or bliss; favored with blessings; happy; highly favored.
Mary the mother of Jesus declared that all generations would call her blessd (Luke 1:48). She declared that about her on life based upon her relationship with God. You can declare the same thing because of your relationship with God. Our union with the MOST HIGH GOD gives us access to ever earthly blessing and favor. So stop declaring your future to be cursed, start proclaiming that you are blessed and highly favored! God says in Deuteronomy 30:19, "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"
The words that you release out of your mouth concerning your future will also affect your children. Don't let your tongue release the curse but rather the blessing, God allows you to choose. The scriptures declare, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:21).
We must always choose life, no matter what the circumstances of life may look like around us, so that both our seed and us may live. The word seed there represents our children or whatever kind of seeds you are planting; whatever you put your hands to.
So begin to declare that you are blessed and stop talking and proclaim the "mess" life has brought your way. We are BLESSED, BLESSED, BLESSED BLESSED......everyday in everyway! Go ahead and enjoy the blessings of the Lord!
Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
Amen*
